Day 1 - on the rode. We rented a car and drove to Stone Mountain. Stopping at a rest stop for and "old fashioned" road trip lunch - just like when I was a kid. After lunch we threw a ball for awhile before getting back on the road.
Day 2 - Stone Mountain
A fun day - hiking, shows, boats, trains, laser light shows (no pictures the first night - but we went again the second night.)
We started the day taking the sky lift to the top of the mountain - then hiking down.
Here we are looking over at our hotel - just across the road. We could walk everywhere - which was great.
It was hot but always a fun hike. Probably Bryce's favoirte part.
They have added a new "sky hike" section. Today we did the rock wall and some of the play areas - tomorrow we are doing the sky hike.
Bryce was a lion in the kids circus - he was a good sport!
We headed to the Marina and took the big paddle wheel boat around the lake . 
Then took out a paddle boat and paddled around checking out the ducks.
A Scrapbooking buddy from Florida was visiting at the same time - so we met up with her and her kids for the laser light show - and then swimming in the pool.
Our last day in Stone Mountain we did the Sky Hike - grabbed lunch and headed out to the Smokey Mountains. Sky Hike is three levels of fairly difficult rope course - it was fun but I couldn't bring a camera. Next post - the Smokey Mountains....
